    Willard Norris began building deadrises in the 1930's. He is the last of the Deltaville boat-builders still building in 2014. The collection includes over 100 photos, a digital scan of the scrapbook donated by Willard Norris and his wife, newspaper clippings, audio and video files. Subjects include Willard Norris's boatshop on Lover's Lane, boats he built, and interviews. The entire collection is available on the library computer archives.

  10. William Rollins builds 26' deadrise in fir or juniper - Negative, Film

    Photos taken for the article"Virginian builds 26' deadrise in fir or juniper," by Larry Chowning. Some of these images appeared in National Fisherman, June, 1987. Sixty photos were taken at William Rollin's boatyard showing a variety of boats that Rollins was working on.
