Todd Parks on his boat, Rappahannock River, January, 2003. Larry Chowning accompanied Todd Parks, a Tangier Island waterman, to the Temples Bay oyster grounds on the Rappahannock River near Topping, VA. Park's boat, the 36-foot deadrise workboat Kristin Dale, was one of 25 to 30 boats working river on a winter morning. The photos were taken for the ariticle "Back in Business," published in National Fisherman, January, 2003, pages 20-21. |
