    The fishing boat Joseph J Palmer was built 1995-96 for owner Joe Gilbert of Connecticut. Chip Collamore III of Hulls Unlimited East constructed the 42 footer. The boat was featured in a National Fisherman article by Larry Chowning, September,1996. Chowning took 38 photos of the boat, the builder and the owner.

    Larry Chowning boarded the Iva W. at 4 a.m. on December 13, 1985 to accompany Captain Johnny Ward and crew on a blue crab dredging run. The 60' Iva W, named after Capt.
